TL;DR
This paper analyzes the flavor structure of 5D supergravity models with multiple moduli, showing how contact terms can mitigate the SUSY flavor problem, supported by a detailed phenomenological example.
Contribution
It provides a systematic analysis of SUSY flavor structure in multi-moduli 5D supergravity models and highlights a mechanism to avoid the flavor problem.
Findings
Contact terms in the 4D Kähler potential can suppress flavor violations.
Multi-moduli models offer a natural solution to the SUSY flavor problem.
A phenomenological model demonstrates the viability of the proposed mechanism.
Abstract
We perform a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the SUSY flavor structure of generic 5D supergravity models on with multiple -odd vector multiplets that generate multiple moduli. The SUSY flavor problem can be avoided due to contact terms in the 4D effective K\"ahler potential peculiar to the multi-moduli case. A detailed phenomenological analysis is provided based on an illustrative model.
