Fermi liquid theory and ferromagnetism
V. P. Mineev

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that an isotropic ferromagnetic Fermi liquid is unstable against transverse inhomogeneous magnetization deviations, using kinetic equations to derive the spin wave spectrum.
Contribution
It introduces a kinetic equation approach to analyze the stability of ferromagnetic Fermi liquids and reveals their instability to certain magnetization deviations.
Findings
Ferromagnetic Fermi liquids are unstable to transverse inhomogeneous deviations.
Spin wave spectrum analysis shows instability of the ferromagnetic state.
The approach uses kinetic equations to derive the spectrum.
Abstract
There is demonstrated that an isotropic ferromagnetic Fermi liquid reveals instability of the ferromagnetic state in respect to the transversal inhomogeneous deviations of magnetization from equilibrium. The result was obtained by derivation of the spin waves spectrum by means of kinetic equation.
