TL;DR
This paper models the production of a neutral pion and rho meson pair in electron-positron collisions using an extended NJL model, accounting for intermediate vector mesons, and finds results consistent with experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces an expanded NJL model that includes radial excitations of vector mesons to describe the $e^+e^- o ho^0 ho^0$ process in a specific energy range.
Findings
Results agree with experimental measurements
Intermediate vector mesons significantly contribute to the process
Model extends previous NJL approaches
Abstract
The process is described in the framework of the expanded NJL model in the energy region from 0.9 GeV to 1.5 GeV. The contribution of intermediate state with vector mesons , and , where is the first radial excitation of - meson was taken into account. Results obtained are in satisfactory agreement with experimental data.
