The MOR cryptosystem and extra-special $p$-groups
Ayan Mahalanobis

TL;DR
This paper explores the use of automorphism groups of extra-special p-groups in the MOR cryptosystem, providing insights into its structure and potential cryptographic applications.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach to the MOR cryptosystem leveraging the automorphism groups of specific extra-special p-groups.
Findings
Automorphism groups of extra-special p-groups are suitable for cryptographic schemes.
Results extend to groups of exponent p^2 and even primes.
Provides a framework for future cryptographic constructions using these groups.
Abstract
This paper studies the MOR cryptosystem, using the automorphism group of the extra-special -group of exponent , for an odd prime . Similar results can be obtained for extra-special -groups of exponent and for the even prime.
