$\rho$ meson decay width from 2+1 flavor lattice QCD
N. Ishizuka, for PACS-CS Collaboration

TL;DR
This study uses lattice QCD with 2+1 flavors to calculate the $ ho$ meson decay width and resonance parameters, providing results at two quark masses and comparing with previous work and experimental data.
Contribution
First lattice QCD calculation of $ ho$ meson decay width using 2+1 flavors with detailed phase shift analysis at multiple quark masses.
Findings
Estimated $ ho o\pi\pi$ coupling constant and resonance mass.
Results at $m_\pi=410$ MeV and 300 MeV.
Comparison with previous $N_f=2$ studies and experiment.
Abstract
We perform a lattice QCD study of the meson decay from the full QCD configurations generated with a renormalization group improved gauge action and a non-perturbatively -improved Wilson fermion action. The resonance parameters, the effective coupling constant and the resonance mass, are estimated from the -wave scattering phase shift for the isospin I=1 two-pion system. The finite size formulas are employed to calculate the phase shift from the energy on the lattice. Our calculations are carried out at two quark masses, () and (), on a () lattice at the lattice spacing . We compare our results at these two quark masses with those given in the previous works using full QCD configurations and the…
