Neutral Current Elastic Interactions in MiniBooNE
Ranjan Dharmapalan (for the MiniBooNE Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports on measurements of neutral current elastic interactions in MiniBooNE, including cross sections, axial mass, and strange quark spin content, comparing neutrino and antineutrino data with theoretical models.
Contribution
It provides new experimental measurements of NCE interactions, axial mass, and strange quark contributions in MiniBooNE, enhancing understanding of neutrino-nucleon interactions.
Findings
Measured flux-averaged NCE differential cross section
Determined axial mass M_A
Estimated strange quark spin content s
Abstract
Neutral Current Elastic (NCE) interactions in MiniBooNE are discussed. In the neutrino mode MiniBooNE reported: the flux averaged NCE differential cross section as a function of four-momentum transferred squared, an axial mass M_{A} measurement, and a measurement of the strange quark spin content of the nucleon, \Delta s. In the antineutrino mode we present the background-subtracted data which is compared with the Monte Carlo predictions.
