Alternative Discrete Energy Solutions to the Free Particle Dirac Equation
Thomas Edward Brennan

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel approach to solving the free particle Dirac equation, resulting in discrete, quantized energy solutions linked to angular momentum, contrasting with traditional continuum solutions.
Contribution
It presents an alternative method that yields quantized energy solutions proportional to total angular momentum, expanding the solution space of the Dirac equation.
Findings
Derived discrete energy solutions proportional to angular momentum
Contrasted with traditional continuum energy solutions
Provides new insights into Dirac equation solutions
Abstract
The usual method of solving the free particle Dirac equation results in the so called continuum energy solutions. Here, we take a different approach and find a set of solutions with quantized energies which are proportional to the total angular momentum.
