Flavor stability analysis of supernova neutrino fluxes compared with simulations
Srdjan Sarikas, Georg Raffelt

TL;DR
This paper uses a linearized stability analysis on simplified supernova neutrino flux models and finds strong agreement with numerical simulations, supporting its use for more realistic models.
Contribution
It demonstrates that linearized stability analysis accurately predicts neutrino flux behavior, validating its application to complex supernova models.
Findings
Excellent agreement between analysis and simulations
Supports use of linearized stability for realistic models
Validates simplified models for stability studies
Abstract
We apply a linearized stability analysis to simplified models of accretion-phase neutrino fluxes streaming from a supernova. We compare the results with recent numerical studies and find excellent agreement. This provides confidence that a linearized stability analysis can be further applied to more realistic models.
