Integrated Azimuthal Correlations in Nucleus-Nucleus Collisions at CERN SPS
Katarzyna Grebieszkow, Stanislaw Mrowczynski

TL;DR
This paper discusses azimuthal particle correlations in nucleus-nucleus collisions at CERN SPS, highlighting that collective flow effects primarily influence these correlations.
Contribution
It demonstrates that the integral measure Phi effectively captures azimuthal correlations dominated by collective flow in heavy-ion collisions.
Findings
Correlations are dominated by collective flow effects.
The measure Phi effectively quantifies azimuthal correlations.
Results support the significance of flow in particle emission patterns.
Abstract
Azimuthal correlations of particles produced in nucleus-nucleus collisions at CERN SPS are discussed. The correlations quantified by the integral measure Phi are shown to be dominated by effects of collective flow.
