QCD fits in diffractive DIS revisited
F. A. Ceccopieri, L. Favart

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel method for extracting diffractive parton distributions in deep inelastic scattering that aligns more closely with the factorization theorem and avoids traditional Regge theory assumptions.
Contribution
It presents a new approach to determine diffractive parton distributions without relying on Regge theory, improving theoretical consistency.
Findings
Method successfully extracts diffractive PDFs.
Reduces dependence on Regge theory assumptions.
Enhances connection with factorization theorem.
Abstract
A new method of extracting diffractive parton distributions is presented which avoids the use of Regge theory ansatz and is in much closer relation with the factorization theorem for diffarctive hard processes.
