Quantum aether and an invariant Planck scale
Saurya Das, Elias C. Vagenas

TL;DR
This paper proposes that a quantum aether can coexist with relativity and establish an invariant Planck scale, potentially altering the observable effects of quantum gravity.
Contribution
It introduces the concept of a quantum aether as a means to maintain an invariant quantum gravity scale within relativistic frameworks.
Findings
Quantum aether is compatible with relativity.
It can set an invariant Planck scale.
It may modify the scale of observable quantum gravity effects.
Abstract
We argue that a quantum aether is consistent with the principle of relativity and can provide an economical way of having an invariant quantum gravity or Planck scale. We also show that it may change the effective scale at which quantum gravity effects may be observable.
