A M\"ossbauer study of the magneto-structural coupling effect in SrFe$_2$As$_2$ and SrFeAsF
Zhiwei Li, Xiaoming Ma, Hua Pang, and Fashen Li

TL;DR
This study uses Mössbauer spectroscopy to compare the magnetic and structural coupling in SrFe$_2$As$_2$ and SrFeAsF, revealing differences in magnetic moments and coupling effects linked to their inter-layer properties.
Contribution
It provides the first comparative analysis of these compounds' magneto-structural coupling using Mössbauer spectroscopy and a modified Bean-Rodbell model.
Findings
SrFeAsF exhibits a smaller magnetic moment.
The magneto-structural coupling is weaker in SrFeAsF.
Differences are attributed to inter-layer property variations.
Abstract
In the present paper, we report a comparison study of SrFeAs and SrFeAsF using M\"ossbauer spectroscopy. The temperature dependence of the magnetic hyperfine field is fitted with a modified Bean-Rodbell model. The results give much smaller magnetic moment and magneto-structural coupling effect for SrFeAsF, which may be understood as due to different inter-layer properties of the two compounds.
