Updated Measurement of ${\cal B}(B_s \to D_s^{(*)+}D_s^{(*)-})$ and Determination of $\Delta \Gamma_{s}$
Sevda Esen

TL;DR
This paper measures the branching fractions of specific $B_s$ meson decays and uses these to determine the decay width difference between CP eigenstates, providing insights into $B_s$ meson properties.
Contribution
It provides the first precise measurements of $B_s o D_s^{(*)+}D_s^{(*)-}$ branching fractions and derives the decay width difference $ ext{ extdollar}rac{ ext{ extdollar}\Delta ext{ extdollar}\Gamma_s}{ ext{ extdollar}\Gamma_s}$, assuming negligible CP violation.
Findings
Branching fractions for $B_s$ decays measured with uncertainties.
Determination of $rac{ ext{ extdollar} ext{ extdollar}\Delta ext{ extdollar}\Gamma_s}{ ext{ extdollar}\Gamma_s} = 0.090 \
Abstract
Using fully reconstructed mesons, we measure exclusive branching fractions for the decays . The results are , , and ; the sum is . Assuming these decay modes saturate decays to CP-even final states, the branching fraction determines the relative width difference between the CP-odd and CP-even eigenstates. Taking \cp\ violation to be negligibly small, we obtain , where is the mean decay width. The results are based on a data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB collider running at the…
