A note on recursive calculations of particular 9j coefficients
Jean-Christophe Pain

TL;DR
This paper introduces a recursion relation for efficiently calculating specific 9j symbols, which are crucial in quantum angular momentum theory, potentially reducing computational effort.
Contribution
It presents a new recursion relation for particular 9j coefficients, offering an alternative method for their calculation in quantum angular momentum.
Findings
Recursion relation simplifies calculation of certain 9j symbols.
Potential for faster computations in quantum angular momentum problems.
Applicable to specific cases in angular momentum coupling matrices.
Abstract
The calculation of angular-momentum coupling transformation matrices can be very time consuming and alternative methods, even if they apply only in special cases, are helpful. We present a recursion relation for the calculation of particular 9j symbols used in the quantum theory of angular momentum.
