A Search For the Higgs Boson in CMS in the Two Photon Decay Channel
Christopher Palmer

TL;DR
This paper reports on a search for the Standard Model Higgs Boson decaying into two photons using CMS data from 2010 and 2011 at 7 TeV collision energy.
Contribution
It presents the first search for the Higgs boson in the two photon decay channel with CMS data from early LHC runs.
Findings
No significant excess observed in the data.
Limits set on Higgs production cross-section.
Methodology established for photon-based Higgs searches.
Abstract
We report on a search for SM Higgs Boson in the two photon decay mode conducted by the CMS experiment with the data accumulated during the 2010 & 2011 running of the LHC at center of mass collision energy of 7 TeV.
