Level truncation analysis of regularized identity based solutions
E. Aldo Arroyo

TL;DR
This paper uses level truncation methods to evaluate the vacuum energy of regularized identity-based solutions in open bosonic string field theory, confirming the expected value for the tachyon vacuum.
Contribution
It demonstrates that level truncation computations of regularized identity-based solutions align with the predicted vacuum energy, supporting Sen's first conjecture.
Findings
Vacuum energy computed matches the expected tachyon vacuum value.
Level truncation effectively evaluates regularized identity solutions.
Results support the validity of the regularization approach in string field theory.
Abstract
We evaluate the vacuum energy of regularized identity based solutions through level truncation computations in open bosonic string field theory. We show that the level truncated solutions bring a value of the vacuum energy expected for the tachyon vacuum in agreement with Sen's first conjecture.
