An Algebraic Proof for the Identities for Degree of Syzygies in Numerical Semigroup
Ivan Martino, Neeraj Kumar

TL;DR
This paper provides an algebraic proof for recently proposed identities related to the degree of syzygies in numerical semigroups, using basic homological algebra tools, and extends these results.
Contribution
It offers a new algebraic proof of existing identities and extends their applicability in the context of numerical semigroups.
Findings
Algebraic proof of identities for degree of syzygies
Extension of these identities to broader cases
Utilization of basic homological algebra tools
Abstract
In a recent paper by L. Fel two new identities for the degree of syzygies are given. We present an algebraic proof of them, using only basic homological algebra tools. We also extend these results.
