H. L. Lu, David G. L. Wang

TL;DR
This paper explores conditions for the existence of specific degree-prescribed spanning subgraphs called $H_n$-factors, advancing the understanding of a problem posed by Cui and Kano in 1988.
Contribution
It provides new sufficient conditions for $H_n$-factors and advances the characterization problem for a special class of graphs.
Findings
Established new sufficient conditions for $H_n$-factor existence
Progressed on Cui and Kano's characterization problem from 1988
Utilized Lovász's structural descriptions for degree-prescribed subgraphs
Abstract
An -factor of a graph is defined to be a spanning subgraph of such that each vertex has degree belonging to the set in . In this paper, we investigate -factors of graphs by using Lov\'asz's structural descriptions to the degree prescribed subgraph problem. We find some sufficient conditions for the existence of an -factor of a graph. In particular, we make progress on the characterization problem for a special family of graphs proposed by Cui and Kano in 1988.
