TL;DR
This paper presents a catalog of over 40,000 Long Period Variables in the Magellanic Clouds identified using the EROS-2 survey data, providing a valuable resource for stellar variability studies.
Contribution
The study compiles and introduces a large catalog of LPVs in the Magellanic Clouds based on EROS-2 data, expanding available stellar variability datasets.
Findings
Catalog of 40,000+ LPV candidates created
Provides new data for stellar variability research
Enhances understanding of LPVs in the Magellanic Clouds
Abstract
We use the EROS-2 database to analyze Long Period Variables (LPVs) in the Magellanic Clouds. It results in the creation of a catalog of more than 40 000 LPV candidates which is briefly introduced here.
