He-accreting WDs as SNe Ia Progenitors
Luciano Piersanti, Amedeo Tornambe', Lev Yungelson, Oscar Straniero

TL;DR
This paper studies how helium-accreting white dwarfs respond thermally and concludes that this pathway is unlikely to produce most normal Type Ia supernovae.
Contribution
It provides new insights into the thermal behavior of helium-accreting white dwarfs and challenges the helium channel as a primary progenitor for typical SNe Ia.

Abstract
We investigate the thermal response of CO WDs accreting He-rich matter directly from their companions in binary systems. Our results suggest that the He-channel cannot provide progenitors for majority of "normal" SNe Ia.
