Krishna Kingkar Pathak, D K Choudhury

TL;DR
This paper models the semileptonic decay of Bc mesons into S wave charmonium states using a QCD potential with Coulombic perturbation, calculating form factors and decay widths with results aligning well with existing theories.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach using a QCD potential with Coulombic part as perturbation to study Bc meson decays and computes relevant form factors and decay widths.
Findings
Form factors for Bc to S wave charmonium transitions calculated.
Decay widths for Bc to J/psi and eta_c channels estimated.
Results agree with other theoretical predictions.
Abstract
We present the semileptonic decay of meson in a QCD potential model with the coulombic part of the Cornell potential as perturbation. Computing the slope and curvature of Isgur Wise function in this approach, we study the pseudoscalar and vector form factors for the transition of meson to its S wave charmonium states. Numerical estimates of widths for the transitions of are presented. The results are found to be in good agreement with other theoretical values.
