TL;DR
This paper explains how gravitational fluctuations become fixed during inflation and how spacetime rapidly approaches a de-Sitter state within the observer's horizon.
Contribution
It provides a detailed mechanism for the freezing of gravitational fluctuations and the exponential approach to de-Sitter spacetime during inflation.
Findings
Gravitational fluctuations are frozen during inflation.
Spacetime settles exponentially fast to de-Sitter metric.
Mechanism clarifies the behavior of spacetime within the horizon.
Abstract
We elucidate the mechanism where by gravitational fluctuations are frozen in during a period of inflation but nevertheless within the past horizon of any geodesic observer the spacetime settles down exponentially fast to the de-Sitter metric.
