Measurement of the Relative Branching Fraction of \boldmath $B_{s}^{0} \rightarrow J/\psi f_{0}(980), f_{0}(980) \rightarrow \p i^{+}\pi^{-}$ to $B_{s}^{0} \rightarrow J/\psi \phi, \phi \rightarrow K^{+}K^{-}$

TL;DR
This paper measures the ratio of branching fractions between two decay modes of the $B_s^0$ meson, providing data relevant for CP violation studies using approximately 8 fb$^{-1}$ of collider data.
Contribution
It presents the first precise measurement of the relative branching fraction of $B_s^0 ightarrow J/\psi f_0(980)$ to $B_s^0 ightarrow J/\psi \phi$, aiding CP violation research.
Findings
Relative branching fraction is 0.210 ± 0.032 (stat) ± 0.036 (syst).
Uses 8 fb$^{-1}$ of data from the D0 detector at Fermilab.
Supports CP violation studies with $B_s^0$ decays.
Abstract
A measurement of the relative branching fraction of to is presented. The decay mode is an interesting mode since it is a CP-odd eigenstate which could be used in CP-violating studies. Using approximat ely 8 of data recorded with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider, a relative branching fraction of 0.210 0.032\thinspace(stat) 0.036\thi nspace(syst) is found.
