Thermodynamical analysis on a braneworld scenario with curvature corrections
Ninfa Radicella, Diego Pav\'on

TL;DR
This paper investigates the thermodynamic properties of cosmological models in a braneworld scenario with curvature corrections, highlighting the role of dark energy in achieving thermal equilibrium.
Contribution
It provides a thermodynamic analysis of modified gravity braneworld models with curvature effects, emphasizing the necessity of dark energy for equilibrium.
Findings
Dark energy is essential for long-term thermal equilibrium.
Modified gravity models exhibit distinct thermodynamic behavior.
Curvature corrections influence the thermodynamic stability of the models.
Abstract
We study the thermodynamics of some cosmological models based on modified gravity, a braneworld with induced gravity and curvature effect. Dark energy component seems necessary if the models are to approach thermal equilibrium in the long run.
