Generalized Self-similar Scalar-Tensor Theories
J. A. Belinch\'on

TL;DR
This paper investigates the structure of generalized scalar-tensor theories using symmetry principles, deriving broad results applicable to various cosmological models and providing exact solutions for specific cases.
Contribution
It introduces a symmetry-based approach to determine functions in generalized scalar-tensor theories, applicable across multiple cosmological models, including Bianchi and FRW.
Findings
Derived general form of scalar-tensor functions under self-similarity.
Obtained exact self-similar solutions for the Kantowski-Sachs model.
Results are valid for all Bianchi models and flat FRW universe.
Abstract
We study through symmetry principles the form of the functions in the generalizated scalar-tensor theories under the self-similar hypothesis. The results obtained are absolutely general and valid for all the Bianchi models and the flat FRW one. We study the concrete example of the Kantowsky-Sach model finding some exact self-similar solutions.
