Screening Masses in Gluonic Plasma
Purnendu Chakraborty, Munshi G. Mustafa, Markus H. Thoma

TL;DR
This paper investigates electric and magnetic screening masses in a nonperturbative gluonic plasma using operator product expansion, comparing results with lattice data to evaluate their accuracy.
Contribution
It introduces a nonperturbative approach to calculate screening masses and compares these with lattice results, highlighting agreements and discrepancies.
Findings
Magnetic screening mass agrees with lattice results.
Electric screening mass is somewhat smaller than lattice findings.
Provides insights into nonperturbative effects in gluonic plasma.
Abstract
Both electric and magnetic screening masses in a nonperturbative gluonic background are investigated using operator product expansion. The magnetic screening mass is found to agree with lattice results whereas the electric screening mass is somewhat smaller than the one found on the lattice.
