TL;DR
This study analyzes deep spectra of planetary nebulae with [WC] or wels central stars, finding moderate ADFs below 4 and no evidence of H-poor metal-rich inclusions, with detailed analysis ongoing.
Contribution
It provides new measurements of abundance discrepancy factors in planetary nebulae with specific central stars, challenging previous hypotheses about metal-rich inclusions.
Findings
ADFs are moderate, below 4
No evidence of H-poor metal-rich inclusions
Analysis is ongoing
Abstract
We present preliminary results obtained from the analysis of very deep echelle spectra of a dozen planetary nebulae with [WC] or weak emission lines (wels) central stars. The computed abundance discrepancy factors (ADFs) are moderate, with values lower than 4. In principle, no evidence of the H-poor metal enriched inclusions proposed by Liu et al. (2000) have been found. However, a detailed analysis of the data is in progress.
