TL;DR
This paper discusses the development and current status of Monte Carlo simulation tools essential for understanding jet quenching phenomena in high-energy physics experiments.
Contribution
It provides an overview of the progress and future prospects of Monte Carlo generators for modeling jet quenching effects.
Findings
Monte Carlo tools are crucial for jet quenching analysis.
Current generators are advancing in accuracy and scope.
Future developments aim to improve theoretical descriptions.
Abstract
A thorough understanding of jet quenching on the basis of multi-particle final states and jet observables requires new theoretical tools. This talk summarises the status and propects of the theoretical description of jet quenching in terms of Monte Carlo generators.
