Victor I. Mokeev, Inna G. Aznauryan, Volker D. Burkert

TL;DR
This paper reports the first independent determinations of nucleon resonance electrocouplings from CLAS data, providing new insights into excited proton states through exclusive meson electroproduction analyses.
Contribution
It introduces a novel analysis of CLAS data to extract electrocouplings of high-lying N* states, especially those decaying to Nππ, expanding understanding of nucleon excitations.
Findings
First independent determination of nucleon resonance electrocouplings.
Extended information on high-lying N* states decaying to Nππ.
Enhanced understanding of nucleon excitation spectrum.
Abstract
transition helicity amplitudes (electrocouplings) of several prominent excited proton states are determined for the first time in independent analyses of , , and electroproduction off protons. Analysis of electroproduction has extended considerably information on electrocouplings of high lying N* states, which decay preferentially to the final states.
