Strangeness magnetic moments of $N$ and $\Delta$
Harleen Dahiya, Neetika Sharma

TL;DR
This paper calculates the strange quark contributions to the magnetic moments of nucleons and delta baryons using a chiral constituent quark model with configuration mixing, aligning well with recent experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces the use of the $ ext{χCQM}_{ ext{config}}$ model to specifically compute strangeness magnetic moments of baryons, providing new insights into their internal structure.
Findings
Results agree with recent experimental measurements.
Strangeness contributions are significant in understanding baryon magnetic moments.
Model successfully explains the proton spin crisis and related phenomena.
Abstract
We have calculated the strangeness contribution to the magnetic moments of the nucleon and decuplet baryons in the chiral constituent quark model with configuration mixing (CQM) which is known to provide a satisfactory explanation of the proton spin crisis and related issues. Our results are consistent with the recent experimental observations.
