Nahomi Kan (Yamaguchi Junior College), Koichiro Kobayashi, Kiyoshi, Shiraishi (Yamaguchi University)

TL;DR
This paper explores particle motion in double field theory, showing it follows geodesic flow in doubled geometry, and introduces a quantum string cosmology model with two scale factors inspired by this analysis.
Contribution
It demonstrates that particle motion in double field theory is governed by geodesics in doubled geometry and proposes a new quantum string cosmology model with dual scale factors.
Findings
Particle motion follows geodesic flow in doubled geometry.
A modified quantum string cosmology model with two scale factors is proposed.
The analysis links particle dynamics to cosmological models in string theory.
Abstract
In double field theory, the equation of motion for a point particle in the background field is considered. We find that the motion is described by a geodesic flow in the doubled geometry. Inspired by the analysis on the particle motion, we consider a modified model of quantum string cosmology, which includes two scale factors.
