K K Pathak, D K Choudhury

TL;DR
This paper calculates the oscillation frequencies of B and Bs mesons using a QCD potential model that incorporates relativistic effects, introducing a short-distance scale to regularize the wavefunction, and finds results consistent with experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces a regularization method for the wavefunction in a relativistic QCD potential model to estimate meson properties and oscillation frequencies.
Findings
Oscillation frequencies agree with experimental data
Wavefunction regularization improves mass and decay constant estimates
Relativistic effects significantly impact meson oscillation calculations
Abstract
Wavefunction at the origin with the incorporation of relativistic effect leads to singularity in a specific potential model. To regularise the wavefunction, we introduce a short distance scale here and use it to estimate masses and decay constants of Bd and Bs mesons within the QCD potential model. These values are then used to compute the oscillation frequency \Delta mB of Bd and Bs mesons. The values are found to be in good agreement with experiment and other theoretical values.
