Contribution
It introduces two new conservation laws for nonlinear internal wave equations via Lie symmetry methods, enhancing theoretical understanding.
Findings
Discovered two new conservation laws
Extended the mathematical framework of internal wave analysis
Provided insights into the symmetry structure of oceanic wave equations
Abstract
Using the maximal Lie algebra of point symmetries of a system of nonlinear equations used in geophysical fluid dynamics, two conservation laws are found in addition to the conservation of energy.
