Ivan Agullo, Jose Navarro-Salas, Gonzalo J. Olmo, Leonard Parker

TL;DR
This paper reviews the importance of renormalization in inflationary cosmological perturbations, clarifies the process in curved spacetime, and corrects misconceptions in recent literature.
Contribution
It provides a concise overview of renormalization techniques for primordial perturbations and addresses common misunderstandings in the field.
Findings
Renormalization is essential for accurate power spectra.
Clarification of momentum-space renormalization in curved spacetime.
Correction of misconceptions in recent literature.
Abstract
We briefly review the need to perform renormalization of inflationary perturbations to properly work out the physical power spectra. We also summarize the basis of (momentum-space) renormalization in curved spacetime and address several misconceptions found in recent literature on this subject.
