Benjamin Martin, Jeroen Schillewaert, G\"unter F. Steinke, Koen, Struyve

TL;DR
This paper investigates the conditions under which Bruhat-Tits buildings are metrically complete, focusing on infinite-dimensional cases and those with residue characteristic two, providing a classification of completeness.
Contribution
It identifies specific cases where Bruhat-Tits buildings are metrically complete, especially in infinite-dimensional and residue characteristic two scenarios.
Findings
Characterization of metric completeness in Bruhat-Tits buildings
Identification of infinite-dimensional cases with completeness
Analysis of residue characteristic two cases
Abstract
Metrical completeness for Bruhat-Tits buildings is a natural and useful condition. In this paper we determine which Bruhat-Tits buildings are metrically complete up to certain cases involving infinite-dimensionality and residue characteristic two.
