Quasi-Elastic Scattering in MINERvA
Kevin S. McFarland (for the MINERvA Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports on the measurement of quasi-elastic neutrino scattering cross-sections across various energies and targets using MINERvA, comparing preliminary data with simulations and outlining future analysis plans.
Contribution
It provides the first broad-range measurements of quasi-elastic cross-sections in MINERvA and compares data with models for anti-neutrino interactions.
Findings
Preliminary data shows agreement with simulations.
Analysis covers a wide range of neutrino energies and targets.
Future plans include detailed quasi-elastic studies.
Abstract
Determination of the quasi-elastic scattering cross-section over a broad range of neutrino energies, nuclear targets and Q^2 is a primary goal of the MINERvA experiment. We present preliminary comparisons of data and simulation in a sample rich in anti-{\nu}_{\mu}+p\rightarrow{\mu}+n events from approximately one eighth of the total anti-{\nu} events collected by MINERvA to date. We discuss future plans for quasi-elastic analyses in MINERvA.
