TL;DR
This paper introduces a new scheme for verifying symmetrization in two-particle systems using one-particle detection, which differs from traditional Hong-Ou-Mandel methods and can also generate superposition states.
Contribution
It presents a novel symmetrization verification method that does not rely on Hong-Ou-Mandel interference and enables superposition state generation.
Findings
Effective verification of symmetrization without Hong-Ou-Mandel setup
Capability to generate superposition states of single particles
Potential applications in quantum information processing
Abstract
We propose a scheme for symmetrization verification in two-particle systems, based on one-particle detection and state determination. In contrast to previous proposals, it does not follow a Hong-Ou-Mandel-type approach. Moreover, the technique can be used to generate superposition states of single particles.
