O. Lalakulich, K. Gallmeister, T. Leitner, U. Mosel

TL;DR
This paper models one pion production in neutrino interactions using the GiBUU transport model and compares the results to MiniBooNE experimental data, providing insights into neutrino-nucleus interactions.
Contribution
It applies the GiBUU model to analyze pion production in neutrino interactions and compares predictions with recent MiniBooNE data, advancing understanding of these processes.
Findings
Good agreement with MiniBooNE data for integrated cross sections
Differential cross sections match experimental trends
Provides validation for the GiBUU model in neutrino physics
Abstract
We investigate one pion production processes within the Giessen Boltzmann--Uehling--Uhlenbeck (GiBUU) coupled channel transport model. Our calculations for integrated and differential cross sections for realistic experimental neutrino fluxes are compared to the data recently provided by the MiniBooNE collaboration.
