Ibrar Hussain, Mubasher Jamil, F. M. Mahomed

TL;DR
This paper uses Noether gauge symmetry to identify stable f(R) gravity models that could explain dark energy as a modification of gravity, providing exact solutions and stability analysis.
Contribution
It introduces a Noether gauge symmetry approach to find exact stable f(R) models relevant for dark energy in cosmology.
Findings
Two exact f(R) forms with symmetries are obtained.
The identified f(R) models are shown to be stable.
The approach links symmetries to viable dark energy models.
Abstract
We discuss the f(R) gravity model in which the origin of dark energy is identified as a modification of gravity. The Noether symmetry with gauge term is investigated for the f(R) cosmological model. By utilization of the Noether Gauge Symmetry (NGS) approach, we obtain two exact forms f(R) for which such symmetries exist. Further it is shown that these forms of f(R) are stable.
