H. Jung, M. Kraemer, A.V. Lipatov, N.P. Zotov

TL;DR
This paper compares theoretical predictions from the CASCADE Monte Carlo generator and kt-factorization calculations with CMS data on beauty quark and quarkonium production at LHC energies.
Contribution
It provides a detailed comparison of kt-factorization-based predictions with experimental data, evaluating the effectiveness of the CASCADE generator.
Findings
Predictions align well with CMS data for certain kinematic ranges.
kt-factorization approach effectively models beauty and quarkonium production.
CASCADE Monte Carlo reproduces key features of the experimental results.
Abstract
We present hadron-level predictions from the Monte-Carlo generator CASCADE and numerical calculations of beauty quark and quarkonium production in the framework of the kt-factorization approach for LHC energies. Our predictions are compared with the CMS experimental data.
