Neetika Sharma, Harleen Dahiya

TL;DR
This paper calculates the charge radii of octet and decuplet baryons using the chiral constituent quark model and a general parameterization method, comparing results with experimental data and exploring symmetry breaking effects.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed calculation of baryon charge radii within the chiral constituent quark model using a novel general parameterization approach.
Findings
Results agree with recent experimental data.
SU(3) symmetry breaking effects are significant.
The model provides a good description of baryon charge distributions.
Abstract
The charge radii of the octet and decuplet baryons have been calculated in the framework of chiral constituent quark model (CQM) using a general parameterization (GP) method. Our results are comparable with the latest experimental studies as well as with other phenomenological models. The effects of SU(3) symmetry breaking and GP parameters pertaining to the one-, two- and three-quark contributions have also been investigated in detail.
