Cedric Lorce (Mainz U., Inst. Kernphys.), Barbara Pasquini (Pavia, U. & INFN, Pavia)

TL;DR
This paper explores the properties of transverse-momentum dependent parton distributions (TMDs) within quark models, emphasizing their relations and physical origins linked to the nucleon's rotational symmetry.
Contribution
It reviews and discusses the relations among TMDs in quark models and their connection to the nucleon's rotational symmetry in its rest frame.
Findings
Relations among TMDs are derived within quark models.
The physical origin of TMD relations is linked to rotational symmetry.
Insights into the structure of the nucleon in terms of TMDs.
Abstract
Transverse-momentum dependent parton distributions (TMDs) are studied in the framework of quark models. In particular, quark model relations among TMDs are reviewed and their physical origin is discussed in terms of rotational-symmetry properties of the nucleon state in its rest frame.
