Contribution
It refines the 'book cricket' concept to provide a simple, quantitative measure of individual player performance in cricket.
Findings
Provides a novel, easy-to-implement evaluation method.
Offers a new perspective on player performance assessment.
Demonstrates the method's potential for comparative analysis.
