Direct Dark Matter Searches: Fits to WIMP Candidates
Graciela B. Gelmini

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent direct detection efforts for light WIMP dark matter candidates below 10 GeV, discussing hints and experimental results in the context of dark matter research.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive review of recent experimental hints and results for light WIMPs, highlighting the current status and challenges in direct dark matter detection.
Findings
Hints suggest possible detection of light WIMPs below 10 GeV
Recent experiments have provided conflicting results on light WIMP detection
The review discusses the implications of these findings for dark matter models
Abstract
After a brief introduction to dark matter in general and to WIMPs as candidates, we review recent results of direct dark matter searches. We concentrate on older and more recent hints pointing to light WIMP's with mass below 10 GeV.
