TL;DR
This paper introduces an axiomatic framework for the sectional category of a morphism, unifying existing results and deriving new applications across various mathematical contexts.
Contribution
It provides a generalized axiomatic approach to sectional category, extending known results and enabling broader applications in different settings.
Findings
Unified various results on sectional category
Generalized the concept in an axiomatic setting
Deduced new applications of the invariant
Abstract
We study, in an abstract axiomatic setting, the notion of sectional category of a morphism. From this, we unify and generalize known results about this invariant in different settings as well as we deduce new applications.
