S. Burg, V. Stukalov, and E. Kogan

TL;DR
This paper investigates the magnetic properties of doped EuO, calculating Curie temperature and magnetization using different electron models, providing insights into the material's magnetic behavior.
Contribution
It compares free electron and finite bandwidth models to analyze EuO's magnetic properties, highlighting their similar results.
Findings
Magnetization follows a Brillouin function-like behavior.
Curie temperature calculations are provided for doped EuO.
Models show consistent results across different electron assumptions.
Abstract
We present the calculations of the Curie temperature and magnetization of doped EuO both in the absence and in the presence of external magnetic field. The calculations were performed both for the free electrons model and for the model with finite electron band width. Both models give similar results for the magnetization, close to Brillouin function.
