Hadron multiplicity induced by top quark decays at the LHC
R. A. Ryutin

TL;DR
This paper calculates the average charged hadron multiplicities from top quark decays at LHC energies using pQCD, proposing measurements to test QCD predictions independently of fragmentation models.
Contribution
It provides pQCD-based predictions for hadron multiplicities in top decays, offering a new way to test QCD at the LHC.
Findings
Predicted charged hadron multiplicities for top decay modes
Proposed measurements as tests of pQCD independent of fragmentation models
Analysis applicable to different top production modes
Abstract
The average charged hadron multiplicities induced by top quark decays are calculated in pQCD at LHC energies. Different modes of top production are considered. Proposed measurements can be used as an additional test of pQCD calculations independent on a fragmentation model.
