An Explanation of the CDF Dijet Anomaly within a $U(1)_X$ Stueckelberg Extension
Zuowei Liu, Pran Nath, Gregory Peim

TL;DR
This paper explores the CDF dijet anomaly using a $U(1)_X$ Stueckelberg extension of the Standard Model, proposing a new gauge boson that couples only to quarks and analyzing its implications at Tevatron and LHC energies.
Contribution
It introduces a novel $U(1)_X$ Stueckelberg extension model to explain the dijet excess and provides predictions for collider signals at Tevatron and LHC.
Findings
The model can account for the CDF dijet excess.
Predictions for $Zjj$ and $\gamma jj$ production at Tevatron.
Dijet signals expected at LHC energies.
Abstract
We discuss the recent excess seen by the CDF Collaboration in the dijet invariant mass distribution produced in association with a boson. We analyze the possibility of such a signal within the context of a Stueckelberg extension of the Standard Model where the new gauge boson couples only to quarks. In addition to the analysis of the anomaly we also discuss the production of and at the Tevatron. The analysis is then extended to the Large Hadron Collider with and predictions for the dijet signals are made.
