H. Wan Chan Tseung, N. Tolich

TL;DR
This study measures the refractive indices of various scintillators across a broad spectrum using ellipsometry, providing precise optical data crucial for detector design and analysis.
Contribution
It presents the first detailed ellipsometric measurements of LAB-PPO, Nd-doped LAB-PPO, and EJ-301 scintillators over 210-1000 nm with high precision.
Findings
Refractive indices determined with +/-0.005 accuracy
Data covers 210-1000 nm wavelength range
Provides essential optical parameters for scintillator applications
Abstract
We report on ellipsometric measurements of the refractive indices of LAB-PPO, Nd-doped LAB-PPO and EJ-301 scintillators to the nearest +/-0.005, in the wavelength range 210-1000 nm.
