TL;DR
This paper studies how scalar and tensor fields can be localized on a brane in a 5D spacetime with standing gravitational waves, demonstrating the existence of normalizable zero modes even with an increasing warp factor.
Contribution
It shows that scalar and tensor fields can be localized on a brane with an increasing warp factor, expanding understanding of field localization in braneworld models.
Findings
Normalizable zero modes exist for scalar and tensor fields
Localization occurs despite increasing warp factor
Supports viability of standing wave braneworld scenarios
Abstract
We investigate scalar and tensor fields in the brane model solution for the 5D space-time with standing gravitational waves in the bulk and show that even in the case of increasing warp factor there exist normalizable zero modes localized on the brane.
